The TEK800 is a rugged vehicle monitor designed for outdoor use, featuring an IP65-rated chassis that withstands harsh environments and ensures readability in direct sunlight. The monitor is equipped with an advanced controller that automatically or manually adjusts the backlight based on ambient light conditions, making it ideal for applications from the darkest night (NVIS) to bright daylight.
For added interactivity, the TEK800 offers an optional resistive touch panel with a USB/RS232 controller, making it suitable for budget-conscious projects. Additionally, it includes a rugged Projected Capacitive (PCT) multi-touch screen option that provides higher light transmission, thicker anti-vandal glass and requires no recalibration. This makes it a preferred choice for industries like medical equipment and industrial instruments, where durability, resistance to scratches, ease of cleaning, and reliable performance with gloved hands are essential.
The TEK800 comes standard with VGA and audio inputs, with optional HDMI/DVI, composite video, and S-Video inputs available as factory options on the rear panel. An optional “all-in-one cable” with a lockable connector is also available for simplified connectivity.
